Though Ertugral has since left, the club is still pursuing the incident five months after it happened.

“Let me pre-empt the question about the investigations relating to the incident relating to our previous coach Muhsin Ertugral and player Gyimah. The player has been at the Africa Cup of Nations and investigations will therefore be concluded now that he has returned,” says club boss Irvin Khoza.

Pirates had already indicated that they were aware of the scuffle and will employ their internal disciplinary systems to get to the bottom of the matter.

Since the brawl Gyimah apologised for acting unprofessional on the day of the incident while also noting that it is an issue that he had since put behind him as he seeks to continue with his career.
