SuperSport United midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane says there is no room for fear in CAF tournaments.
Matsatsantsa, who jet out to Madagascar on Saturday, will open their Confederation Cup campaign against Elgeco Plus FC at the Stade Municipal de Mahamasina on Sunday (14h30 kick-off).
United will rely on the continental experience of ex-Kaizer Chiefs players such as 'Yeye', Mandla Masango, Tefu Mashamaite and Kingston Nkhatha in Antananarivo.
“The team is looking good and ready for the match on Sunday,” Letsholonyane told the club's website.
“We know that playing in CAF tournaments is not an easy task. One needs to endure without showing any fear.”
The 34-year-old added: “We know all about the conditions on the continent but we must be brave about the whole thing.”
The return duel takes place next weekend at a venue yet to be announced.
Stuart Baxter's side enter the tie with confidence, as they top the league standings on the back of a 5-2 hammering of Golden Arrows in midweek.
Platinum Stars will play their Confederation Cup opener against Mozambican outfit Uniao Do Songo in Rustenburg on Saturday.
