Kaizer Chiefs' Lorenzo Gordinho eyes Bafana, Golden Arrows' Clinton Larsen not thinking of SA hotseat

Kaizer Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho believes he is ready for the step up to Bafana Bafana, while Golden Arrows boss Clinton Larsen is not eyeing the national coaching job just yet.
The uncapped Gordinho and Larsen were on Monday named the PSL's player and manager of the month for August/September 2016.
"With regards to the national team, I think I am ready but that's entirely up to the coaches to decide," said 22-year-old Gordinho, who recently failed a trial in Denmark after establishing himself alongside Erick Mathoho in the centre of defence for Amakhosi this season.
SAFA are currently searching for Shakes Mashaba's successor, with Larsen mindful experienced counterparts like Gavin Hunt of Bidvest Wits are more deserving of their consideration.
Claude Le Roy, Carlos Queiroz, Stuart Baxter and ex-England manager Roy Hodgson are among those that have been linked with the Bafana hotseat.
"At this stage of my career, I think I should not be a candidate for national team coaching duties," said Larsen, who has steered unfashionable Arrows to sixth place in the standings at the halfway point of the campaign.
"I think there are other coaches like Gavin Hunt who are experienced and have not yet coached the national team."
