Polokwane City midfielder Nazier Jacobs could play against Maritzburg after recovering from car crash

Posted: 6 February 2017 Time: 13:12

Polokwane City midfielder Nazier Jacobs is set to make his return after nearly a year out recovering from a car accident.

Jacobs was initially left in a critical condition following the car crash in Limpopo on February 26, 2016.

However, the Cape Town-born player has fully recovered from his injuries and is in contention to feature in Wednesday's league game with Maritzburg United at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Meanwhile, Jacobs's teammate Randy Ngobe is also lucky to be alive after crashing his car in Polokwane last week.

Ngobe escaped without injury but his car was written off.
