Keagan Dolly was named on the bench but did not debut for French Ligue 1 side Montpellier on Saturday night.
Montpellier claimed a vital 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Bastia to move three points clear of the relegation zone.
Dolly will be pleased to have cracked the match-day 18, but will be eager to get his first minutes on the pitch.
Dolly joined Montpellier from Mamelodi Sundowns last month for a reported R25-million.
