Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says he is considering leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of the current Bundesliga campaign.
The Gabon international has been extensively linked with a move away from Signal Iduna Park in recent months, and although he has often spoken of his desire to join Real Madrid, a move to the Chinese Super League has also been mooted.
"This is the question I am asking myself right now. It is a particular moment. I am fully considering a move away in the summer," he is quoted as saying by RMC.
"Obviously, I feel very good here because of the magnificent fans. It is a big club. However, I am asking myself this question -- If I want to take the next step, should I not leave?
"I do not have the answer. It will take a little time. I am 27 years old. If I want to do something in order to progress, then I will do it this summer. Is it worth it or not?
"I need to see what options there are. If I will be able to play. Obviously if I do not move, it means I will end my career here. I will take some time to reflect."
Aubameyang has been a revelation in front of goal for Dortmund since making the move from Saint-Etienne in 2013. He has scored 70 goals in 111 appearances for the German club, and his tally in this Bundesliga season so far is 16 goals in 15 matches.
Aubameyang laughed off suggestions that he would be keen on a move to the Chinese Super League, but left the door open for a move to Spain, England or France.
"Going there [China] is not an objective of mine. Especially now. I am completely excluding this for the moment," he added.
"A lot of people would like to see me in England. This is not necessarily the league that attracts me the most though. It would allow me to develop further though. I really like the Spanish league and find it attractive.
"Forget Real [Madrid]. There has been too much talk surrounding that. There is more to life than just Real, even if it does remain a dream of mine.
"The French league is clearly developing. It is really pleasing to see. Paris, for me, is above everyone else in France. When they come for you, it is always attractive.
"It is France. I know the league well. It is my mother tongue. Inevitably, there is an attraction for me. A return? It might not be my first choice but of course it is not impossible."
