South Africa Under-20 midfielder Luther Singh has joined Portuguese Primera Liga side Braga.
The club confirmed on Tuesday evening that the 19-year-old penned a one-and-a-half year deal, with an option of a further five years.
Singh first left South Africa when he joined Swedish second tier outfit GAIS from the Stars of Africa academy in 2015, and has now moved on for free after his contract ended in October last year.
Reports in Portugual previously suggested he had signed for Primera Liga side Vitoria Guimaraes – the same side Bongani Zungu joined in June last year – but the deal was not confirmed.
The Noordgesig-born attacker has recieved high praise from SuperSport United defender Morgan Gould, who congratulated him on his move to The Archbishops.
"Fly the flag high boy... Congratulations on ur (sic) move," Gould said on his official Instagram page.
"Luther Singh is the finest player to come out of Noordgesig."
Singh is expected to turn out for the club's B-team until he is able to warrant a place in the first team.
