AmaZulu have lined up a deal for offensive midfielder Siyethemba Mnguni for next season from fellow NFD side Mbombela United.

The 24-year-old will see out his exiting contract with Mbombela before switching allegiance at the end of 2016/17, according to a source.

Usuthu recently recruited defenders Phumlani Gumede and Stephen Makatuka and attacker Roggert Nyundu, while they are also assessing Gumede's twin brother Philani and ex-Kaizer Chiefs winger Ovidy Karuru.

"Siyethemba Mnguni will be joining the club next season and has been signed on a pre-contract from Mbombela United," a source tells

"The club has also signed Phumlani Gumede and will join immediately. The club will monitor his brother Philani and he will be given more time to train with the team and the decision maybe made at the end of this transfer window."

Joey Antipas's side, in fourth place on the table with 23 points from 15 matches, will resume their second-tier campaign against University of Pretoria on February 11.
