Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung has reiterated the club have no interest in signing Mamelodi Sundowns striker Anthony Laffor during the January window.
Rumours have been doing the rounds in Soweto that Amakhosi have earmarked Liberia international Laffor as a key target for the Naturena giants.
However, as reported by KickOff.com last week, the Glamour Boys have made no moves for the forward, and Motaung has since underlined that stance.
"I don't know anything about that [rumours of a deal for Laffor], it's something I only see in the media,” he tells this website.
"What I can tell you is that nobody has discussed Anthony Laffor at Kaizer Chiefs. We haven't shown any interest in the player, his name is not part of our discussions."
Chiefs are, however, actively looking to strengthen their options this month, with Italian forward Gustavo Paez and Malawian defender Miracle Gabeya both undergoing trials at Naturena.
There could also be some moves away from the Soweto giants before the end of January, with Lorenzo Gordinho currently being assessed at Danish club Aalborg BK.
