Colombian striker Mauricio Barrios is headed off to National First Divison club Stellenbosch FC after parting ways with Golden Arrows.
Barrios initially joined Abafana Bes’thende at the end of August following a spell in Venezuela with Metropolitanos, although he was unable to make the most of his stay and was handed his clearance papers this week.
However, he will now be hoping for a change of fortunes at Stellenbosch where he will be assessed this week.
The 29-year-old has also previously played in Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia and Panama.
Stellenbosch – formerly Vasco da Gama – are keen on bringing in a forward as they seek to win promotion back to the PSL.
