Royal Eagles coach Kosta Papic says the club is set to sign former Polokwane City pair Jabulani Nene and Carlington Nyadombo on Friday.

Midfielder Nene has also played for Golden Arrows and Chippa United, while Zimbabwean defender Nyandombo was once on the books of AmaZulu.

"Jabulani Nene, Carlington," Papic tells when asked who else he plans to sign after recruiting ex-Bidvest Wits star Papy Faty.

"We are expecting to sign both of them on Friday after a medical check-up.

"I coached them before, I know them, and they know and understand my style of football," adds the former Rise and Shine mentor.

Eagles are second in the National First Division standings with 25 points from 15 games - 10 points adrift of neighbours Thanda Royal Zulu.

The promotion hopefuls will resume their campaign against visiting Stellenbosch FC on February 12.
