Shakes Mashaba’s legal representative Claudio Bollo will be handing over his client’s matter with SAFA to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration next week.
The former Bafana Bafana coach is taking SAFA to the CCMA on grounds of unfair dismissal after being found guilty of misconduct. This follows his rant against SAFA and the media after Bafana Bafana’s 2-1 victory against Senegal during a World Cup qualifier game played in November.

Bollo has now confirmed that matter will be taken to the CCMA with the hope that Mashaba will be re-instated as the national team coach.
"We will be submitting the documents early next week to the CCMA," Bollo tells KickOff.com. "Our first priority has always been to get the coach reinstated. His desire is to continue with his job as Bafana Bafana coach. It’s an important job and prestigious award for any coach.
"If it doesn’t work out, we will seek other options and alternations, but most important thing is for SAFA not to rush to appoint new coach until the matter is resolved,” he added.
Despite not being happy about SAFA’s decision to fire the coach, Bollo says Mashaba is handling the matter with a positive mindset.
"He is obviously not happy, especially after such a great result against Senegal,” Mashaba’s legal representative continued. "It was a surprise and all happened during the festive season. But he is a fighter and is taking everything with a positive mind.”
