Kaizer Chiefs have four foreigners on trial at Naturena, including a striker.

Amakhosi resumed training today after the festive break, and announced Italian Gustavo Paez, Brazilian defender Pedro Henrique Dias DeAmorim, Malawian defender Miracle Gabeya and Ivorian defender Ismael Olivier Toure are having an assessment.

Chiefs said on their website: 'Four players will be on trial during this period. Striker Gustavo Paez (26) from Italy and defender Pedro Henrique Dias DeAmorim (24) from Brazil. Defenders Miracle Gabeya (20) and Ismael Olivier Toure (19) are respectively from Malawi and Ivory Coast.

'The club will make an announcement if there are player movements during the transfer window, which opened on 3 January and will close on 31 January.'

Zimbabwean midfielder Willard Katsande is absent from training as he will lead the Warriors at the upcoming AFCON, while Lorenzo Gordinho, Ryan Moon, Emmanuel Letlotlo and Siyabonga Ngezana left for England on Monday to train at Championship outfit Fulham until January 12.

Meanwhile, Chiefs' medical team are assessing George Lebese (back), Itumeleng Khune (back), William Twala (calf), Tsepo Masilela (groin), and Enocent Mkhabela (abdominal pain) after they entered the recess with their respective ailments.

The Glamour Boys, a point behind log leaders SuperSport United, are next in action against Free State Stars at FNB Stadium on February 7.
