Wits keen to loan out Knox Mutizwa amid interest from NFD side Witbank Spurs

Posted: 6 January 2017 Time: 09:42

Bidvest Wits are set to loan out Zimbabwean striker Knox Mutizwa for the rest of the season with several First Division clubs interested in his services.

Mutizwa has found himself way down the pecking order at Wits, being restricted to a MultiChoice Diski Challenge role.

Word reaching KickOff.com is that Witbank Spurs among other second-tier outfits have made enquiries as they seek to bring in the slippery forward, who played for Zimbabwean giants Highlanders prior to joining Wits.

Wits are apparently keen to do a loan deal, but Mutizwa's wishes will also come into consideration.

At present Wits have Eleazar Rodgers, Hellings Mhango, Cuthbert Malajila and Phakamani Mahlambi as their options upfront, while James Keene is also expected to return soon.
