Bafana Bafana winger Mandla Masango will not be joining Supersport United this transfer window and will instead return to his club Randers FC.
The 27-year-old will be returning to Denmark on Monday against his wishes according to a reliable source close to the player.
Masango has expressed reservations in the past that Randers' ambitions do not match his own and has made it clear he wishes to depart the club.
However, the Ólafur Kristjánsson-coached outfit, who currently lie fourth in the Danish Superliga, are insistent the former Kaizer Chiefs man honours his contract which runs until 2018.
"Mandla is no longer interested in playing for Randers," the source tells KickOff.com. "There are teams in England that want him, even in Denmark there are big teams there that have approached him.
"Here at home Stuart Baxter tried all he could to convince Randers to release the boy to SuperSport but failed.
"The thing is, at Randers half of the club management still wants the boy at the club but the technical team don't like him, they say he is ill-disciplined. In one match they even played him as a right-back knowing very well that the boy can't mark.
"On Monday he is going to Denmark to honour his contract but he is very down and frustrated, I must say."
