Chippa United striker Katlego Mashego opens his heart to the children of Mapulaneng Hospital

Posted: 22 December 2016 Time: 14:50

Chippa United striker Katlego Mashego will be opening his heart to the children at Mapulaneng Hospital in his hometown of Bushbuck Ridge, Mpumalanga on Christmas day.

Through his Katlego Mashego Football Legacy, the 34-year-old frontman– who joined the Chilli Boys at the beginning of November after seeing out his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns – will also be handing out Christmas gifts, sweets and t-shirts to the Bushbuck Ridge community, before spending time at the hospital.

Mashego was once admitted to Mapulaneng Hospital over the Christmas period, a time when all children would rather spend with their families, thus the facility remains close to his heart.

The former PSL top goal scorer will be doing all he can to make the festive experience much better for the children.
