Aubrey Ngoma: Cape Town City ready for Telkom Knockout battle with SuperSport United

Cape Town City attacker Aubrey Ngoma says the team is mentally ready for a battle in tonight's Telkom Knockout decider with SuperSport United in Polokwane.
City are looking for silverware in their first season in existence, having sprung to life after ex-Ajax Cape Town boss John Comitis bought the topflight status of Mpumalanga Black Aces in June.
The new franchise is proving to be a force, as they currently top the Absa Premiership standings just ahead of SuperSport on the back of a six-game unbeaten run in the league.
Eric Tinkler's men will ignite hostilities with Matsatsantsa at 18h00 at Peter Mokaba Stadium, which served as an alternate venue for Stuart Baxter's outfit last term.
Ngoma, however, backs the City Boyz to impress on the road.
"Well we have gone away this season and got results at different venues," Ngoma tells KickOff.com.
"So it is another challenge for us to overcome and we are mentally ready to have a battle regardless of where we play," adds Ngoma, who hopes to emulate the trophy-winning exploits of close friend Thabang Monare of Bidvest Wits.
Ngoma has provided six assists this season, forming an impressive partnership with the club's top scorer Lebogang Manyama, who has eight goals.
