SA players abroad: Claasen, Erasmus, Jali, Mokotjo, Ndlovu, Patosi, Phiri, Pienaar, Rantie, Zungu

Dino Ndlovu struck twice, Tokelo Rantie doubled his tally, Daylon Claasen returned, while Andile Jali, Kermit Erasmus, Bongani Zungu and Lars Veldwijk missed out again in Europe on the weekend.

DAYLON CLAASEN
Claasen returned from six weeks on the sidelines to come off the bench and aid 1860 Munich to a 1-0 win over Dynamo Dresden in the German Bundesliga II.
 
KERMIT ERASMUS
After appearing off the bench in the midweek 2-1 loss at Lorient, Erasmus was not in the match-day squad for French Ligue 1 side Rennes at the weekend.
 
ANDILE JALI
There was no sign of Jali in the match-day squad for Belgian side KV Oostende as they lost 2-0 at Club Brugge.
 
KAMOHELO MOKOTJO
Mokotjo played the full game for Dutch club FC Twente as they drew 0-0 at Willem II.

DINO NDLOVU
Ndlovu continued his fine scoring form with a brace for Azerbaijan side Qarabag in their 5-0 cup win over lowly Səbail. That’s six in 12 starts for Ndlovu this season.
 
AYANDA PATOSI
Patosi is still sidelined at Belgian club Lokeren after passport problems delayed his return from international duty.

LEBOGANG PHIRI
Phiri came on in the second half as Brondby were held to a 1-1 draw by Ebsjerg on Sunday.

STEVEN PIENAAR
Pienaar was taken off at halftime as Sunderland’s revival continued with a 2-1 home win over English champions Leicester City. That’s three wins in four for the Black Cats.

TOKELO RANTIE
After breaking his Turkish duck in midweek, Rantie scored another on Sunday as he came off the bench to net for Genclerbirligi in their 2-0 win over bottom side  Adanaspor.
 
JOEL UNTERSEE
Untersee played for Italian Serie B side Brescia in their 1-0 loss to Ternana.

LARS VELDWIJK
Still no Veldwijk for Belgian side Kortrijk, his last game was the 1-1 draw for Bafana Bafana against Mozambique.
 
BONGANI ZUNGU
Having been on the bench last week, there was no sign of Zungu for Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes this weekend.
