Chippa United central midfielder Thamsanqa Sangweni has suffered another injury setback and is back on the sidelines alongside strikers Bongani Ndulula and Rhulani Manzini.
Sangweni was in fine form for the Chilli Boys earlier in the season, but has not played since a 1-1 draw with Platinum Stars last month, with United recently re-signing Sandile Zuke to police the engine room.
Chippa coach Dan Malesela gave an update on Sangweni's condition after his team's 1-1 stalemate with Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday.
"He is still injured and he tried during the week. After two sessions and the next session the hamstring went again," Malesela said.
"Ndulula is also injured and he suffered a hamstring," he added of 'Drogba', who is yet to play for the Port Elizabeth-based outfit since his off-season arrival from Kaizer Chiefs amid concerns over his weight.
Meanwhile, Manzini, who netted thrice this campaign, is only expected back in February from a broken metatarsal sustained in MTN8 action against Mamelodi Sundowns on September 11.
