Jeremy Brockie accepts Thabo Matlaba apology for bad tackle

Posted: 28 November 2016 Time: 15:12

SuperSport United striker Jeremy Brockie has expressed his appreciation after Orlando Pirates defender Thabo Matlaba apologised to him for a bad tackle on Saturday.

Matlaba was sent off in Bucs' 1-0 loss to SuperSport in the semi-finals of the Telkom Knockout for a late challenge on Brockie, who sustained an ankle injury in the process.

The New Zealand international is awaiting the results of a scan as he sweats over his availability for the TKO final against Cape Town City on December 10.

Brockie said on Twitter: "A big thank you to who has just called me and then messaged me also to apologise for the weekend! Really appreciated mate!!"
