Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has urged defender Rheece Evans to be patient if he wants to mix it with the big boys at Chloorkop.

Evans has failed to break into Sundowns' starting lineup since arriving at the club two years ago from Maritzburg United.

He nearly joined Cape Town City before the start of the season but the proposed deal collapsed.

Mosimane, however, maintains all his charges will continue to develop under his watch, irrespective of their amount of game-time.

"If you are here you are going to improve because we train you differently," says Mosimane, who is considering converting Evans from a fullback to a centre-back.

"We work hard and make you watch videos. And you develop without playing. This what I told Rheece Evans. You got to listen to me if you want to make an impact in football. The way you play one year, one-and-a-half years I don't know if you have the patience. But if you go to another club you are going to play but remain a small player.

"If you want to play with the big boys, be patient and learn. I think Rheece Evans can play as centre-back because he has speed," adds 'Jingles'.
