Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabo Qalinge has revealed that his injury woes are behind him as he is itches to get back into action.
'Section 10' has been hampered by a knee injury this season but feels that he is now ready to fight for a starting berth in the Buccaneers line up.
"The injury is over. I am now back full time at training," said Qalinge who is yet to recapture the form he enjoyed whilst still with now defunct Mpumalanga Black Aces.
"The injuries have been there but that's no reason to make excuses. Competition [for places] is there. My time will come and I will make sure when I get it I give my all."
Pirates will be celebrating their 80th anniversary and the pressure is on the players to win something and make sure the Soweto giants celebrate the milestone in style.
"I am looking forward to playing more games. For the past two seasons I have been in and out of the team and hopefully this season I will get enough chances and stay injury free. It's every player's dream to win the league. As players we need to do well and win something for the fans," Qalinge concludes.
