Patrick Tignyemb faces disciplinary action at Bloemfontein Celtic

Posted: 15 November 2016 Time: 21:39

KickOff.com has learnt that Bloemfontein Celtic goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb faces a disciplinary hearing at the club after clashing with a Phunya Sele Sele official.

Tignyemb, whose future at Celtic could be at risk if found guilty of misconduct, was a notable absentee in the team's 1-0 league loss to Cape Town City at Cape Town Stadium on November 2.

Ayanda Mtshali took his place in goal and is expected to retain the number one jersey for Sunday's visit of Polokwane City.

Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco confirmed Tignyemb is "due to face a DC" but declined to discuss the nature of the Cameroonian's transgression.

Konco on Tuesday was elected to the National Soccer League's executive committee.
