SuperSport United defender Clayton Daniels cautions Orlando Pirates against seeking revenge after the two sides were drawn to face each other in the Telkom Knockout semi-finals.
The most recent encounter between the two outfits resulted in humiliation for the Buccaneers with a 6-1 scoreline meted out by Matsatsantsa at the Mbombela Stadium, the resignation of then coach Muhsin Ertugral forthcoming shortly afterwards.
Daniels warns the Soweto club against making revenge their sole mandate, declaring that his side are simply focused on advancing to the final and have no designs on chasing a similar margin of victory.
"The score doesn't matter it's just important that we win and go to the next round. We must be professional with our approach and do what we must do," Daniels tells KickOff.com.
"Well if that [revenge] is what they are looking at, we'll be looking to win the game and move to the next round. They know [about us] and we know [about them]."
