Highlands Park winger Franklin Cale says the club's new coach Gordon Igesund gives the team freedom to express themselves on the pitch.
Igesund - a four-time PSL winner - took charge of Highlands in October as Allan Freese was redeployed to the development structures of the promoted outfit.
The former Bafana Bafana boss started his reign with a 2-0 win over Chippa United in the Telkom Knockout.
Successive league draws followed with Free State Stars and Maritzburg United before a 2-1 loss to Orlando Pirates in the TKO quarter-finals on Saturday.
"It's good to have coach Gordon here. I played under him when I was still a young boy," Cale told SuperSport TV after the defeat to Bucs at Orlando Stadium.
"The players are quite happy, the coach gives us our freedom to go out on the park and play good foootball.
"I am just a little bit disappointed, we could have won this game. In the first half we had six clear-cut chances, we didn't put them away.
"We are a professional side and if you are professional you must put those chances away. But yeah, I am happy for Pirates," added the 33-year-old.
