Mike Makaab is reluctant to comment on the current situation of his client Philani Zulu at Maritzburg United, but is looking to resolve the matter urgently.
Zulu has been left out of Maritzburg's last four matches after refusing to sign a contract extension, with his current deal set to end in June next year.
Club chairman Farouk Kadodia has told this website that the 24-year-old has been told to sort his issues out and is currently not involve the team's preparations for the matches as his head is elsewhere.
Makaab, meanwhile, says it is difficult to comment on the matter, but is hopeful that the two parties can resolve any grievances in the next few days.
"Let me tell you what I have said to everybody, I’m not happy to comment on it at all," Makaab tells KickOff.com.
"I’m going to be serving up an opportunity and time to meet with both the player and Maritzburg, and see where go from there, but at this point I don’t want to comment on any [rumours].
"I’m hoping to do (meet them) soon than later because we obviously have to resolved this matter as the matter of urgency."
It is believed that Zulu is unhappy with his salary at the club, with the club's renewal offer also not meeting his expectations.
Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando PIrates and Platinum Stars are all believed to be monitoring the left-winger's situation at the KZN-club.
