Orlando Pirates' Manyisa, Memela ruled out of SuperSport clash with food poisoning after missing Soweto Derby with Kaizer Chiefs

Orlando Pirates talisman Oupa Manyisa and Luvuyo Memela have been ruled out of Tuesday's clash with SuperSport United as they continue to recover from a bout of food poisoning.

The pair sat out the Soweto Derby stalemate with Kaizer Chiefs on the weekend, with Memela initially selected but withdrawn after the pre-match warm-up. Riyaad Norodien subsequently replaced Memela in the starting XI at FNB Stadium.

Goalkeeper Brighton Mhlongo did duty against Chiefs despite eating at the same restaurant with Manyisa and Memela last week.

Bucs administrative official Floyd Mbele has confirmed Manyisa and Memela will miss the league tie with Matsatsantsa at Mbombela Stadium.

"They are still recovering. They will miss the game tomorrow," Mbele tells KickOff.com.
