Baroka FC CEO Morgan Mammila says bookings will not deter his players from showboating as it is ingrained in the club's DNA.
A yellow card was recently brandished in the direction of Bakgaga player Sipho Moeti for some on-field exuberance against Platinum Stars in their recent Telkom Knockout match and Mammila did not take kindly to it.
"I told the boy to do more [of his tricks] in our next match. Even if they book him again he mustn't stop. That was the reason I signed him in the first place, I saw the way he used his God given talent to entertain the crowd at the Maimane Phiri Games in Alex," Mammila tells KickOff.com.
"Football is supposed to be entertaining, it falls under entertainment. People come to stadiums to be entertained, and that's what Baroka is all about; entertainment.
"We are not fighting anyone, we are not fighting the referees - that's why we didn't even bother writing to the PSL asking for the yellow card to be rescinded."
Talking about his club's recent good form which saw them reaching the Telkom Knockout quarter-final stage, Mammila says their fellow top flight clubs should have taken his warnings seriously during the pre-season.
"I told them that you don't need matric or experience to play football, you only need talent and quality," he concluded.
