"The effort was maginificent in the second half. It was definitely a tough game, which showed that it was an away game.
"But we didn't drop our heads and we kept on going until the last minutes, so we have to be greatful that we recieved the three points away from home.
He added: "It shopwed character from the team, even after we went a goal down we didn't drop our heads but we kept on going."
The former Chippa United workhorse also revealed how coach Gavin Hunt gave the team a stern talking to during the half-time break, and credted the senior contingent in the squad.
"He didn't say much; he actually shouted at us because we didn't give our all. Most of all we have to thank God for the effort we managed to put in in the second half.
"We have to also give credit to the senior guys – they are the ones who took charge in the second half. They motivated each and every individual.
"Had it not been for them, I definitely doubt that the team would have come out as stromg as they did," he concluded.
