Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa wary of Brandon Petersen injury flashbacks in Telkom Knockout clash with SuperSport United

Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa has explained why he opted for Jody February in goal instead of Brandon Petersen in the 1-0 loss to SuperSport United in the Telkom Knockout.
Petersen stood in Ajax's five league games to date this season, but made way for February at Lucas Moripe Stadium last weekend.
De Sa revealed he had concerns Petersen may have "flashbacks" from the broken leg he suffered at the venue two years ago.
“There’s not much between the two. Brandon played in the first five games, but I always knew that I would have to reward Jody for the work he’s been doing,” De Sa told the club's website.
“For Saturday’s game, one of the main reasons I brought Jody into the team was because that was the same field (in Atteridgeville) where Brandon broke his leg two years ago. I didn’t want him getting flashbacks.
“But Jody’s performance was very good. If I have to fault anything, it’s probably his distribution, but that will come with time. To have two young, good keepers is fantastic!”
