Collins Mbesuma praises Highlands Park defensive work under Gordon Igesund

Highlands Park marksman Collins Mbesuma has praised Gordon Igesund for his immediate influence and fixing the team's defence in only two days at the helm.
Igesund was appointed as the Lions of the North head coach in midweek, taking over from Allan Freese.
The four-time league championship-winning coach had only two days to prepare his troops for their Last 16 clash, in which they came out 2-0 victors over Chippa United on Friday evening.
"We have to applaud the coach, who was able to fix our defence in just two days of working with the team," said the 32-year-old.
"We have been scoring goals but have been always conceding, and all in all defending has been our weakness. If the coach can fix our defending in two days, what will he do in the long run?"
Igesund last lead SuperSport United to the league cup title in 2014, and is now two games away from making the final with the newly-promoted outfit.
