Lamontville Golden Arrows will be without striker Lerato Lamola against Orlando Pirates

Posted: 20 October 2016 Time: 20:13

Lamontville Golden Arrows are set to travel to Johannesburg on Sunday for the Telkom Knockout game against Orlando Pirates at the Orlando stadium without the services of striker Lerato Lamola due to injury.

Lamola picked up an ankle injury during the PSL game against Chippa United in Durban recently.

However, good news for Abafana Bes’thende is that midfielder Kuda Mahachi has been declared fit and available for selection after been out for almost a month after injured his arm.

Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen confirmed Lamola is out for Sunday’s clash against Bucs in Soweto.

"But we have other capable players in Colombian striker Mauricio Barrios and Sibusiso Sibeko," Larsen tells KickOff.com. "Mahachi is also back. He played in the MDC and came through well."
