Mosa Lebusa: No cause for panic at Ajax Cape Town

Posted: 19 October 2016 Time: 10:55

Ajax Cape Town left-back Mosa Lebusa feels it is too soon to press the panic button at Ikamva but says the players must step up under coach Roger de Sa.

The Urban Warriors are yet to win a game this season, as they sit in the relegation zone with two points from five matches.

Ajax's three goals to date have all come from striker Nathan Paulse, who faces a spell on the sidelines with a fractured cheekbone sustained in a 2-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs on the weekend.

Lebusa, however, believes his side have what it takes to get their season off the ground given the chances they create.

"I think we don’t have to start to press the panic button, there’s still a lot of games to play," Lebusa tells

"I think we create chances and we just need to put them in the back of the net and I think that is one thing we really need to look into.

"The coach can only do his part and we as players need to step up. So I think as players we need work hard. But as I have said, it’s still early and we just need to go back to the drawing board."

De Sa's charges next visit SuperSport United in the last-16 of the Telkom Knockout on Saturday.
