Jeremy Brockie bagged a brace as SuperSport United thumped Highlands Park 4-1 at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The result lifted Stuart Baxter's side to fourth on the table with nine points from six games - level with Orlando Pirates and Polokwane City, and four points behind Kaizer Chiefs and Golden Arrows.
Highlands are 13th in the standings with four points from five fixtures.
New SuperSport signing Thabo Mnyamane opened the scoring 26 minutes in, getting his first goal for the club by tapping in a cross from the right by Man of the Match Thuso Phala.
Brandon Theron equalised soon after with a low finish in the box for the topflight newcomers.
However, Phala nudged Matsatsantsa ahead with a clinical strike on the stroke of half-time, moments before teammate Aubrey Modiba was forced off with an injury.
The hosts got a third in the 72nd minute, as striker Brockie, who netted 18 times in all competitions last term, opened his account this season after being released by a superb pass from Reneilwe Letsholonyane.
Brockie struck again 10 minutes later with a header off a cross from the right to kill off the Absa Premiership tie.
