DR Congo ran rampant over Libya, while Ivory Coast proved too strong for Mali in the opening group fixtures of the CAF 2018 World Cup qualifiers on Saurday.

The Elephants bagged three goals in te space of eight minutes to come from behind to take the three points at home in their Group C opener against The Eagles. Sambou Yatabare opened the scoring for the visitors in the 18th minute before Jonathan Kodjia and Gervinho netted on either side of Salif Coulibaly's own goal in the 31st minute.
