Chippa reached the semi-finals of the MTN8, losing 1-0 on aggregate to Mamelodi Sundowns after beating Platinum Stars 2-0 on their tournament debut.

The Chilli Boys will renew their bid for silverware against topflight newcomers Highlands Park in the first round of the TKO this month.

"We learned a lot during our MTN8 campaign. We play to win and we will be going all out again win this one," Okwuosa told his club's website.

"We always want to win, be it training, a friendly match, it does not matter with us.

"The Telkom Knockout gives us another opportunity to compete."

He added of facing Highlands: "We have seen them a of couple times this season. They have an experienced coach and experienced players. We need to be at our best to proceed to the next round."
