Do Tendai Ndoro’s white & pink boots give him goals?
Posted: 27 September 2016
Have you noticed the type of football boots that Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro wears? If not, well these are the golden boots that gives the Bucs striker goals.
The Zimbabwean International has already netted five goals in three games in the Premiership making him the top goalscorer, with Nathan Paulse of Ajax Cape Town second with three goals.
So what's the story with Ndoro’s boots? Well, every season we see players change their boots with new boots getting launched, but Ndoro hasn’t changed the footwear he was using last season.
The only change that Ndoro has done this season was todye his hair blonde, following in the footsteps of Aaron Ramsey, Lionel Messi and Neymar who also dyed their hair this season.
So there’s only one thing that has changed from Ndoro since last season, but he still wears his ‘old-look’ boots that saw him score crucial goals for Pirates in the second round of the season.
Now the big question is, will Ndoro change his boots this season or keep playing with last season’s boots? Let’s wait and see ... I know many Pirates fans will want him to keep playing with his ‘lucky’ boots till the season ends.
