Lehlohonolo Nonyane's last-gasp winner saw Golden Arrows edge Free State Stars 1-0 in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday night.
Nonyane struck the decisive blow in stoppage time at Goble Park.
In the first half, Arrows goalkeeper Maximilian Mbaeva did well to save efforts from Nyiko Mobbie and Nhlanhla Vilakazi, while there was little for Thela Ngobeni to do in the opposing goal.
Abafana Bes'thende nearly broke the deadlock in the 55th minute, but Lerato Lamola headed against the upright off a cross from Wayde Jooste.
Both sides had chances in the latter stages before Nonyane turned in a low cross to snipe the spoils in Bethlehem, and lift his team to third on the table with six points from three games.
Stars are still looking for their first victory of the season, having lost 2-1 to Chippa United and drawn 0-0 with Bloemfontein Celtic in their previous matches.
Arrows lost 3-1 to Orlando Pirates and defeated Cape Town City 2-0 in their earlier assignments.
