Mamelodi Sundowns winger Samuel Julies says he's ready to fill any position for the club as Pitso Mosimane rotates his squad during this month’s demanding schedule.
Julies, according to club coach Pitso Mosimane, was Man of the Match against Maritzburg United in a new-look Sundowns line-up as they were held to a goalless draw in the league last week.
Mosimane hinted that the squad that played against United is likely to be the same side that will play against Chippa United in the MTN8 semi-final on Wednesday, as focus shifts to overturning the 2-1 first-leg loss to Zesco United in the CAF Champions League.
Julies, who was used in Down’s MultiChoice Diski Challenge opener against Orlando Pirates, says he's ready to fill any role at the club after a solid display for the first team against the Team of Choice.
"I'm ready to play everywhere - it is not something difficult for me to adjust to some technicalities, and I'm happy," said Julies.
"To get a run [against Maritzburg United] early in the season will boost my confidence, and my fitness level is there.
"When opportunities come, you just have to have grab them and I'm happy to contribute to the team and am happy with the chance given to me."
Before lining up against Maritzburg, the 23-year-old last featured for Sundowns against Bidvest Wits in the penultimate game of last season, just his second league appearance of the entire campaign.
