Arrows secure home win over City

Goals from Vuyani Ntanga and substitute Wayde Jooste ensured Golden Arrows secured a 2-0 victory over Cape Town City in a dull Absa Premiership encounter at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
Both teams dished out a lacklustre display for the better part of the first half, with the only clear-cut opportunity coming five minutes prior to the interval.
That is when Arrows broke the deadlock when Lehlohonolo Nonyane delivered a cross from the left wing and Vuyani Ntanga calmly slotted into the back of the net to put the home team in front.
Eric Tinkler brought on Judas Moseamedi for the ineffective Lehlononolo Majoro in the 62nd minute as the Cape side went in search of an equaliser.
The substitution nearly paid dividends as Moseamedi beat two defenders and rounded the goalkeeper but his shot was blocked by Limbikani Mzava.
With a few minutes remaining City were attacking in numbers but it was Abafana Bes’tende who put the final nail in the coffin in added time when Jooste blasted home to secure victory for the home team.
