Tshilo was dismissed on the stroke of half-time for City, who still managed a 0-0 draw with the Students at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday night.

Goalkeeper Chigova told SuperSport: "We knew when one of our men got sent off it was going to be hard playing with 10 men with their quality.

"But we told ourselves in the changeroom, this is the time to fight. There's no time to cry, the ref has made his decision. We need to come back and fight for the team."

The Zimbabwean said a team effort saw Rise and Shine collect their first point of the season from their second match.

"I can say I made saves but the team worked hard to achieve this. I didn't do it on my own.

"We knew coming to this game Wits are quality, so we had to apply ourselves properly in order for us to get the result here."

Luc Eymael's charges next visit a wounded Ajax Cape Town on September 20. The Urban Warriors lost 2-1 at home to log leaders Orlando Pirates on Tuesday.
