KickOff.com can confirm that SuperSport United defender Clayton Daniels will be out of action for at least a month with concussion and a broken arm.
Daniels says he was “knocked out” after colliding with his teammate Kingston Nkhatha as they were put through their paces in training this morning.
“It’s one of those freak happenings on the training ground that you cannot explain,” Daniels tells KickOff.com.
“It was initially a clash of heads between myself and Kingston that caused me to sustain a concussion. That's when fell to the ground and landed awkwardly on my right arm.
“But four weeks is not that bad given the nature of my injury, you know,” he concludes.
SuperSport coach Stuart Baxter will also be without new centre-back Tefu Mashamaite, Dean Furman and Keagan Ritchie who all have knee problems.
