SA players abroad: Erasmus, Jali, Masango, Mokotjo, Ndlovu, Patosi, Phiri, Singh, Zungu

A round-up of the South Africans abroad over the past weekend.

HAASHIM DOMINGO
The South African junior international made his first start for Vitoria Guimaraes ‘B’ in Portugal but lasted only an hour before coming off in a 5-1 loss to Portimonense.

KERMIT ERASMUS
Erasmus did not make it off the bench for Rennes in Ligue 1.

ANDILE JALI
Jali has yet to kick a ball for Oostende this season and was left out of the match-day squad again despite two solid performances for Bafana Bafana during the international break.

MANDLA MASANGO
Wantaway winger Masango continues to be sidelined at Randers and was not part of their match-day squad.

MIHLALI MAYAMBELA
Mayambela was on the bench for Swedish side Djurgardens.
 
KAMOHELO MOKOTJO
Mokotjo played for FC Twente in their 3-1 loss at Heerneveen.

DINO NDLOVU
Ndlovu made his first start for Azerbaijani club Qarabag as they romped to a 6-0 win over bottom side AZAL. The Bafana striker did not get on the scoresheet though.

LUCKY NGUZANA
Nguzana was a second-half sub for Turkish second-tier side Umraniyespor as they lost 1-0.

AYANDA PATOSI
Patosi was left on the bench by Lokeren as they lost 3-0 at Gent.

LEBOGANG PHIRI
Phiri played for Brondby in Denmark as their 1-0 win over Aalborg kept them top of the table.
 
ZAMA RAMBUWANE
Former SuperSport United star Rambuwane made his debut for new Israeli side Hapoel Ra’anana off the bench in their 0-0 draw with Hapoel Kiriat Shmone.

LUTHER SINGH
Singh played the final 11 minutes for GAIS as they were held to a 3-3 draw by Trelleborg.

JOEL UNTERSEE
Untersee played for new Serie B side Brescia as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Perugia.

BONGANI ZUNGU
Zungu has still not made an appearance in the Vitoria Guimaraes match-day squad as he works his way back from long-term injury.
