Free State Stars close in on ex-AmaZulu attacker Goodman Dlamini

Posted: 12 September 2016 Time: 08:27

KickOff.com can confirm that Free State Stars are on the verge of signing former AmaZulu attacker Goodman Dlamini.

The KwaZulu-Natal born midfielder is currently a free agent after receiving his clearance from Usuthu at the end of last season.

Dlamini has been training with Stars for the past few weeks with a view to winning a contract with the Absa Premiership outfit.

This website has gathered that Dlamini has impressed coach Denis Lavagne, and is set to join Ea Lla Koto ahead of Wednesday's derby with Bloemfontein Celtic at Charles Mopeli Stadium.

"Everything has been agreed in principle and Dlamini is set to sign on the dotted line very soon," says a source.

Dlamini's agent Sizwe Ntshangase has confirmed that Stars are interested in his client.

"I cannot say much except that they called on Friday," says Ntshangase. "I hope by tomorrow we will have something concrete."
