Mandla Masango’s Randers misery continues

Mandla Masango was left out of the Randers squad again on Friday night as they won 2-0 against Lyngby, adding further woe for the player who was voted Player of the Season just a few months ago.
The Bafana Bafana winger has not tasted Danish League action since July 24 and has only featured twice this season after falling out with management over his desire to leave the club.
Masango boycotted training while his agent Buddy Farah tried to force a move to another club during the transfer window, but Randers were not willing to lose their 2015/16 Player of the Season.
The 27-year-old has one more year left on his contract but will only be able to move again in January, and only if Randers accept an offer for his services.
Randers reportedly turned down a R5.2-million bid from Aalborg for Masango and want R15.6-million as a transfer fee – a move Farah describes as “an amateurish way to run a business”.
Nevertheless, Randers are entitled to keep the player who is contracted to them and it now appears the former Kaizer Chiefs man will not play until he mends his relationship with the club.
