Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Sandile Zuke could find new home with newly-promoted Premier League side Highlands Park.

Zuke is currently a free agent after leaving Chippa United at the end of last season. The Durban-born midfielder has been training with Africa Sports Youth Development Academy in Johannesburg to keep himself fit.

According to a source close to the player, he has been invited for assessment by Highlands Park with a view to sign him if impresses coach Allen Freese.

Zuke burst onto the scene with Kaizer Chiefs in the 2007/08 season but had little impact at Naturena and joined Mpumalanga Black Aces in 2009.

He spent three-a-and-a-half seasons with AmaZayoni before an unsuccessful loan spell with BidVest Wits, and finally a sale to Chippa at the start of the last campaign.

He made 22 appearances in all competitions with the Chilli Boyz, but was still released at the end of the season by the club.
