Kaizer Chiefs duo Keagan Buchanan and Siphiwe Tshabalala are back in full training as the pair eye a return to on-field action.
Buchanan, an off-season signing from Bloemfontein Celtic, is yet to feature in the Amakhosi shirt following a lengthy spell on the side-lines, yet has resumed full contact training with the Chiefs first team, having completed a final medical assessment unscathed.
Winger Tshabalala, who underwent knee surgery in July, has also recovered and is in full training, having participated in a number of friendly matches, and is eyeing his first appearance of the 2016/17 season.
Centre-back Eric Mathoho has commenced his on-field rehabilitation work under the close watch of the Chiefs medical staff as the national team defender continues on his way back from the ankle injury he picked up while featuring for South Africa at the Rio Olympics in August.
