The 20-year-old sustained a knock in Amakhosi's 1-0 loss to Cape Town City in the MTN8 quarter-finals at Cape Town Stadium on Friday.

Chiefs announced on Twitter: "Emmanuel Letlotlo tore a muscle that attaches to the hip bone and will be out of action for the next 3 weeks."

Letlotlo, who starred in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge last season, also featured off the bench in the 2-1 defeat to Bidvest Wits in the opening round of the Absa Premiership a week ago.

Glamour Boys coach Steve Komphela has Bernard Parker, Edward Manqele, Lewis Macha and Mitchell Katsavairo as his main options upfront ahead of their next league clash with Platinum Stars at FNB Stadium on September 14.
