Kaizer Chiefs winger William Twala has promised to bring happiness to the club's supporters and targets more goals this season.
Twala moved to Naturena in January, midway through what was a season to forget for the Amakhosi faithful as they endured a trophyless campaign.
Despite their opening defeat to Bidvest Wits on Tuesday, the former Orlando Pirates attacker has promised to give his utmost in order to bring joy to the supporters this term.
"I came in and worked my heart out [last season] and I am happy the supporters thought I performed well," he said.
"This season is going to be a happy one for the supporters; we are working hard to prepare for a good season. I am going to give 120 percent for the team to succeed."
The 26-year-old has also set his sights on contributing more on the score sheet, and says he wants to be more influential in the team's performances.
"I will not give away all my targets but I definitely want to improve my numbers on the scoresheet, and my contribution to the team at large," he added.
"I want to be more engaged and influential in the team."
Chiefs are set to face PSL newcomers Cape Town City in their MTN8 quarter-final clash at Cape Town Stadium this evening, with kick-off set for 20h00.
