KickOff.com can reveal that Colombian striker Jesus Mauricio Barrios Casas appears likely to be offered a deal by Golden Arrows after impressing on trial.

Barrios arrived at Arrows two weeks ago and, though his fitness is not in prime condition, he has shown glimpses of being worthy of being signed.

The 28-year-old is a traditionally big forward who was last plying his trade in Venezuela and has previously also played in Bolivia and Panama.

Word reaching this website is that Arrows will seek to have the issue relating to the completion of the signing of Barrios sorted out this weekend.

Meanwhile, Lehlohonolo Nonyane is set to make his Arrows debut tonight against Orlando Pirates following the issuing of his registration card by the PSL.

Nonyane was recently involved in a dispute with Cape Town City – the club that bought the franchise of his previous employers Mpumalanga Black Aces.

The 29 year-old featured prominently for Aces over the last two years.
